7/7/2008 - Join us on August 12th for our annual Courts Plus Furry Friends Pet Walk for Adopt-A-Pet. A 3k walk with or without your pet will benefit this organization whose primary goal is placing rescued pets in loving & responsible homes. Adopt-A-Pet is dedicated to keeping the animals happy and healthy at all times and the welfare of the animals is their primary concern. Click here for more information. Thanks!
6/16/2008 - We have added a new page that lists lost pets in our area. The link will be located on the right column of this page, so please take a look in case you have seen one of these lost pets.
6/10/2008 - We are trying to help locate 2 lost dogs, last seen about 1 mile north of Horace at 8:30pm, Tuesday (6/3) night. The local pounds have been checked, so they may have been found by someone who is looking for their owner. Both are Liver colored (dark brown) and had no collars or identification when last seen. They are both females with docked tails and are named Ginger (8yrs) and Annie (7 months). If you have any information regarding one or both of the dogs, please contact 701-866-0513 or 701-866-0029 or your local pound. Please see the this image for more information and pictures.
6/8/2008 - We would like to thank the Carol L. Stoudt Donor Advised Fund (II) of the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation for their recent grant. Donations such as this help provide food, supplies, and medical care for our foster animals until we are able to match them with their "forever families".
6/3/2008 - Thank you to those who helped us find foster homes for 4 of our emergency cats. We still need foster or permanent homes for 3 cats: 2 neutered males and one spayed female. They are good with other cats, but shy at first with new people, so quiet homes would be best. If you can help, please leave a message on the cat line ( 232-5856) and we will give you information on the cats and answer any questions you may have.
2/24/2008 - Read why there is a large need for pet rescue organizations in the Fargo-Moorhead area and why owners should spay/neuter their pets.
2/17/2008 - Is your family considering adopting a dog? If you have children, check out this short article on MSN Dog Central: Kids and Adopted Dogs — Best Friends Forever
12/13/2007 - Do you have a few hours a month to help us help others? Next Door Charitable Consignment, a nonprofit furniture consignment store in downtown Fargo needs help with greeters and sales assistants. Proceeds from this year's sales will help support Adopt-A-Pet, Make A Wish Foundation, and the YWCA Woman's Shelter. For information on how to help at the store call 237-3375 or visit the store Tuesday-Sundays at 307 Main Ave. Fargo, ND across from the Fry'n Pan Restaurant.

Donations of food, treats, rawhide bones, kitty litter, etc may be dropped off in the bin at the front of the store at:
PETCO
1126 43rd Street S.W.
Fargo, ND

Adopt-A-Pet can also benefit from your used printer cartridges (cartridges cannot be previously recycled cartridges) and old cell phones. Instead than throwing those items away, please consider donating them to Adopt-A-Pet. AAP can receive money from the recycling companies for each printer cartridge or cell phone we send in. If you have cartridges that you would like to donate, please seal them in plastic bags or into the replacement box. Old cell phones and sealed printer cartridges can be dropped off in the bin at the front of Petco.
