7/4/2009 - Thank You to the
Francis J. and Doris Y. Butler Memorial Fund
of the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation for the
recent donation to Adopt-A-Pet. The generous contribution will help provide food, supplies, and medical care for our foster animals until we are able to match them with their "forever families". The generosity of donors allows us to continue rescuing and re-homing these wonderful pets.

be on Tuesday, July 14th at
Petco from 6 - 8 pm. Please come
out and see some of the wonderful cats and dogs available
for adoption.

6/11/2009 - Foster Homes needed -
We are in need of some additional foster homes for
dogs. If you are interested in becoming a
foster home for medium to large breed dogs, please
contact the dog line at 701-232-5681.
Foster homes for cats or kittens are also needed. If you would like to foster, please contact the cat line at 701-232-5856.

2/15/2009 - We have received the 2008 data from
our local pounds and are happy to report the number
of cats and dogs euthanized in the F-M area decreased
in 2008! Thank you to volunteers, supporters,
and those that have chosen to adopt a pet this year,
as this has a direct impact on decreasing these numbers.

Adopt-A-Pet
of Fargo-Moorhead is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization;
It is a
completely volunteer-run, local
animal organization with the primary goal of placing
rescued pets in loving and responsible homes.
Adopt-A-Pet has NO shelter. Instead, foster homes
are used for the animals until they are adopted.
AAP operates under a no-kill policy. The animals
are kept under AAP care until a permanent home can be
found, no matter how long it takes. AAP is dedicated
to keeping the animals happy and healthy at all times
and the welfare of the animals is our primary concern.
AAP receives no government financial support and
is NOT affiliated with any other animal rescue organizations
in the Fargo-Moorhead area. AAP relies solely
on private donations, fundraising events, and adoption
fees to continue its operations. These funds help
cover the cost of food, medical supplies, and veterinary
expenses. We are 100% funded by your donations.
